Staff Party???
Hello all!
I am trying to figure out a way for us to have a staff development "party" before we get going on work. I was thinking about getting a tie dye kit (with just blue!) and making staff shirts that way. What do you guys think? Comment below using your school gmail account. Let me know dates you are available...I think I would just have a get together at my house (which is tiny) and have sweets and punch, and tie-dying. When the shirts are done, my plan is to take them to a shop and get them screen printed or embroidered.

Minutes from Staff Meeting 7-14-15
Hey all!
In case you missed the meeting yesterday, here are the minutes:
Mrs. Wimmer went over our social media outlets. You are required to have a twitter account for yearbook. We will market our book through tweets on an almost daily basis.
Chloe has football and volleyball game dates, we will post them here on the blog and we will begin assigning photographers the week we come back to school.
At the end of these minutes, you will be asked to complete a form to help us keep our contacts updated.
****We are selling business sponsorships****
This starts today, and every staff member is asked to contact 10 businesses, meet with the manager and ask for sponsorships for the yearbook. This is going to be one of the few ways we supplement the production of our book. It is imperative that we do this, and do this correctly. If you have any questions, you can call Mrs. Wimmer, Chloe, or Hannah First.
Mrs. Wimmer talked about where we stand with money. We are going to be VERY tight this year, and everyone will be asked to buy their own t-shirts. The first t-shirt has been ordered and will cost each staff member $15. That will be due to Mrs. Wimmer during our bootcamp sessions.
Bootcamp will be August 12, 13, and 14 from 1-3 pm each of those days. Additionally, we will have a booth at Unicorn Night on the 13th.
So, here is the link to the form to fill out to make sure your contact information is up to date.
Here you can find the documents to help you sell business sponsorships. In this folder you will find the breakdown of different levels, a sign up sheet, and an example as to what the sponsor spread will look like in the book.

Welcome!
Hello staff! I want to take some time to introduce myself to you. My name is Mrs. Wimmer and I am your yearbook adviser. This is a picture of me at Trick-or-Treat on Unicorn Street, which we will participate in again this year. I successfully advised my first staff in 2013-2014, and together we produced a beautifully published yearbook that we are all very proud to have been a part of. I consider this staff to be a working family. There will be moments when we all want nothing more than to never see each other again, and moments when we feel proud or concerned for our fellow staffers. You are lucky to be a part of something this special. Not only do you create an everlasting bond with your staff mates, you also produce a publication of memories, history, and meaningful stories that everyone wants to be a part of. Welcome to The Unicorn Yearbook Staff!
